Acid Plato - Horόs [Vinyl]

"Horòs" is the title of the debut album of Acid Plato, featuring, former members of The Dead Ends, Dimitris Apostolidis and Giorgos Sechlidis! The album, due out on April 17, 2026 on Sound Effect Records, is inspired by Aeschylus' ancient tragedy "Prometheus Bound" and is the "guide" of the theatrical performance of the same name in 3 acts, which will be staged for the first time on April 22 & 23. This 4-sided psychedelic epic follows psychedelic, progressive, space rock and folk paths and borrows passages, people and situations of the original work, telling a parallel surrealist story, essentially an ad-hoc political allegory.

Creators' note: "Horòs" is a direct confrontation with authority and the ways it uses to achieve its goals. With our actions we can either participate in the corruption of the "Gifts" of Prometheus, or light our inner spark and light our way to knowledge and its use for good and just purposes.
