Madmess - The Third Coming [Vinyl]

Emerging from the heart of Porto around 2017, Madmess created a unique sound in the realm of heavy psychedelic rock. Drawing inspiration from the iconic sounds of the 70s, their music transports listeners on a mind-altering voyage. Join them on this mesmerising quest, where they continue to push the boundaries of sonic exploration through unknown dimensions.

Now Portugal's psych-rock heavyweights finally release their 2025 album "The Third Coming". Always sparkling, always brilliant - and heavy as usual - portuguese power-trio Madmess bring forth the third longplayer via Glory or Death (USA), Kozmik Artifactz (EU) and gig.ROCKS! (PT).

They might as well be one of Europe's hidden gems when it comes to the psychedelic scene, but maybe no longer like that. “Velvet Nebula”, the first single was revealed for us to mouth water, chew and spit what sounds to be a prelude for what’s next to come.

Rise and shine in a “Hazy Morning” while they reveal the 2nd and last single before the birth of “The Third Coming”. To kick off sweet and booming, you won’t get a better booster to start the day than this galloping track from Madmess, one more appetizer for us to yearn this record they’ve been talking while the cruising instruments speak for them(selves) on this one

Even if maintaining their psych fingerprint and that priest-placed guitar announcing the marriage between fuzz and wah, that same classical rock vibe we felt on the first single is here to stay and the boys really seem to know where they’re heading: straightforward rock'n'roll music.
